The Chromcast icon does not appear on Youtube videos or Netflix from my laptop...it disappeared.

When I click on the Chromecast icon on the top right it says it cannot locate any device. I can cast Youtube and Netflix from my phone...no problem there, but the cast options that usually displayed in the Chromecast button on my Laptop have disappeared and it now states that it cannot locate any device. Also, usually any youtube video I would see on my laptop would show the Chromecast icon, but now, none of the videos have the icon. The same goes for NETFLIX on my laptop....Chromecast icon has disappeared. I have troubleshooted as suggested, but still no luck. Can anyone help me?

When did this issue start happening?
What OS is your laptop running?
What version of Google Chrome are you using?
Are you using a dual-band router? Either 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz
