6 Months Free Peacock with new Chromecast? Where though?

I purchased a new Chromecast w/ Google TV (4K) today at Best Buy. I was told it came with 6 months free Peacock. I see the link for Peacock come up under the For You tab - however there is no mention of an offer. If I click through and go to Subscribe and Install it says it will start charging me immediately. As in, right away. I'd heard it doesn't mention the offer on occasion, but this very directly saying it will charge me immediately.

Is this right? How do you get this offer?

Welcome to the Chromecast Community Forum! I would recommend that you check out this thread on Android TV Help. Vijay Sivasubramanian says that you will need to provide a valid form of payment, which is required when you subscribe to Peacock but will not be charged until the end of the offer.
