Google TV Ambient mode lost Google Photo option?

Made my own album in Google Photo for Google TV’s ambient mode. It was working until this morning. Any then the option to use Google Photo disappeared. Ambient mode only has “Art gallery” and “Experimental” as choices now. Bad updates? Did I do something?

I am having this same issue and not having any resolution even after factor resetting the Chromecast.

Figured it out. Google Photo integration seems to only be available when Google TV is in full recommendation mode. If I changed to App Only mode to remove all the recommendations, the Google Photo integration is turned off too. Very devious decision. Not a fan.
