Chromecast Google TV (4k) power button

Am I correct in writing that the Power button on the Chromecast Google TV (4k) remote will only power on 1 device? I can't use the power button to power on the TV and a Soundbar.

Hi @dmoncrieff

The power buttons sends a signal using the CEC option of your TV.

So yes it only powers on your TV. My sound system does power on when the TV gets powered on. But that is because I am using ARC and CEC on the audio device together with the TV. 🙂

To add on to @RXShorty, you can also configure the volume, power and input buttons under Settings->Remotes & accessories. In there you'll see an option to setup more remote buttons. You can add your TV there if the TV doesn't turn on with CEC.
