Hi, my google devices are constantly losing connection with my wifi. Currently I have a Google Chromecast with Google TV, Nest Hub, and a Lenovo Smart Clock.

Sometimes they all work but more often than not the Chromecast will say it can't connect, or the Nest Hub's screen will go black and it will become unresponsive and turn off.

I have very fast fibre broadband with 5ghz and 2.5ghz signals, I have tried changing the channels on the 5ghz signal, but this has only worked once. If I factory reset the devices again sometimes this works, but I'm sick of doing it.

Can anybody please help! Thanks

No solution but you are not alone. I am constantly having to go around and unplug and re-plug my devices to get them to work again. My one thought on what might be causing this is when I loose internet connectivity (e.g. - my ISP does maintenance in the middle of the night and I don't have internet for 30 minutes or so) the devices simply quit trying to reach the internet. By rebooting them, it forces them to check for the internet again - then they suddenly work again.

Hey there GazS,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that connection issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?

Are you using the recommended router settings?

What version of Google Home are you using?

What color is the LED light on the Chromecast when this happens?

What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
