Chromecast with Google TV won't wake up

Subject says it all. This started happening a couple days ago. Before that, has never happened (1-2 years).

90% of the time, my Chromecast With Google TV won't wake up from sleep 😐. The only way to wake it up is by unplugging and plugging it back in. Is this a bug? Is there a way to fix it? Is Google even aware of it?

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that waking up issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since I've encountered something similar before on my own device. The first thing I would check is your TV's HDMI-CEC settings. Sometimes there is a power saving option on TVs that can affect HDMI-CEC on devices like the Chromecast. If you find that power saving setting, go ahead and disable it. If that doesn't resolve the issue, go ahead and try a different HDMI port.
