Chromecast not getting reset

Hello,

my chromecast has a solid orange light. I tried unplugging it, waited for a minute and then pressed reset button but nothing is happening. It’s showing solid orange light again. Let me know if anyone experienced same issue.

Try unplugging your Chromecast from the power source, wait about one minute, and then plug it back in. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, while the Chromecast is plugged into the TV, hold down the button on the side of the Chromecast. The LED should begin to blink orange. When the LED light turns white, release the button and the Chromecast should then reset.

I am having the same issue with the solid yellow light. Device is not responding to the factory reset when I hold down the button no matter how long I hold it in for. Any ideas?

That's no good to hear. By any chance, is your Chromecast device still within its warranty? If so, you may want to look at getting it replaced.
