Chromecast Ultra dropping out

I recently purchased a pixel 6a and now when I use it to cast to the Chromecast Ultra it continually drops out after 1 minute of video. It worked fine from my previous Motorola moto z 2 play. I would have thought that both being Google products there would be no issues?

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that dropping out issue? If not, I'd be happy to help you out, since I can imagine this problem is pretty frustrating. The first thing I would do is follow the steps listed in this article. That way, we can remedy any potential connection issues between your Pixel and Chromecast.
