iPhone can’t connect to chromecast

Lately my phone has been unable to connect to my Chromecast. It keeps prompting me to turn on local network access in my settings. But I have done this already. I’ve double checked and every app in my settings is set to connect to local networks. In Privacy in my settings, I’ve also turned on local network access for all my apps (e.g. Netflix, Spotify, etc). I’ve restarted my phone, my Chromecast, and my internet router. Nothing is working. My roommate can cast to the Chromecast just fine. What do I do?????

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that connection issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, since these kinds of networking issues can be tricky to figure out on your own. First, make sure your Google Home app is up-to-date.
