Can Chromecast with Google TV work with a ROKU TV

Can the Chromecast with Google TV turn on my TCL ROKU TV using commands from my Google Home? If I want to turn on the TV and then use a particular app, will it control the ROKU or will I have to replicate the apps on the Chromecast?

Thanks for reaching out. You can use this feature if your Roku TV supports CEC. You may check if your TV has this functionality. Also, I've tried to check the Roku website and found this article. It includes information about using a Google Home device to control your TV.
