My old chromecast would turn on ambient mode automatically when the tv turned on. How do I make ambient mode come on automatically???

Thanks for posting. May I know what you see when you turn on your TV? Does this not work properly? If yes, reboot your Chromecast and plug it in on a different HDMI port on your TV. If the issue persist, factory reset your Chromecast.

I would also like my ambient mode to come on automatically. I have just purchased a Hisense Google TV with built in chromecast. I can only get the ambient mode to come on by going to settings. Can you help?
