Quick question, is it better getting power for the chromecast from the tv usb or plug it into a block and into the wall outlet?

Hi @WarEagle

We generally suggest to use the wall for powering the Chromecasts when that is an option. The power to the Chromecast is stable and not dependent on the TV. Not all TV's USB's inputs are supported and sometimes using the wall can eliminate the TV side from any troubleshooting.

That being said- I have an older Chromecast that is powered by my tv and have never had an issue.
