Chromecast remote stopped working

Welcome. Suddenly after night my Chromecast remote stopped working.

Unpaired it from Chromecast, reseted cast, tried to reset remote.

Holding home button while putting batteries doesn't work, as white light disappears after a while instead of blinking.

Looking for help how to fix that. Thank you very much in advance

As a workaround, use your Android Phone as remote:

Use your phone as the remote for your Android TV - Android TV Help (google.com)

On your Android phone, open the Google TV app
Near the bottom right, tap Remote
At the top, tap Scanning for devices.
Choose your device.
To complete pairing, follow the instructions on your phone and TV.
After pairing, you can use your phone or your remote.
