I'm on my 3rd chromecast and I can't set it up. I do fine until I have to logon to chromecast and it doesn't accept my google credentials

Quick questions: are you getting any messages when signing in to your Google Account? Are you using the Google Home app or Voice Remote to set up your Chromecast with Google TV (4K)? If you're using the Google Home app, please try the steps below:

Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app.
Make sure your phone's OS is updated.
Reset your Google Account password.
Reboot your mobile phone.
Use a different mobile device.
