4K chromecast remote input button not working

Hi, I can setup remote buttons for volume control and power button for my TV but not Input button.

When I go into “setup remote buttons” it shows both Auto(CEC) and Sony TV (IR) as options but the Sony TV option can’t be selected. My TV is Sony KD-55X9000B.

I apologize for the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that input button? If not, I'd be happy to help you out, as this issue can be a bit tricky. First, are you able to use the HDMI-CEC option to get the input button to work? If not, try making sure that the Chromecast and TV's firmware is up-to-date, and also try changing the HDMI port that the Chromecast is plugged into.

Hi Jeran, thanks for the reply. The issue is resolved. I thought since it is working for volume and power button to control the tv are working so HDMI-CEC isn’t the issue. I simply unpair and pair the remote again it worked.
