New to Chromecast with Google TV

Just got a chromecast with google tv for Christmas. (Yay!!)
For now, it seems that every time I want to start the Apple TV app, I need to log in via my phone, using the onscreen QR code. The Amazon Prime app seems to have the same issue with its app. This is a pain when I’m settled in the sofa ready to look for something to play.
Is there any way for Apple TV/Amazon Prime to “recognise” my chromecast as a valid device registered to me?
Pretty new to this (couple of hours…) so forgive me if this is rather obvious.

Hey there Uglymike,

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix those login issues? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know logging in each time would bug me as well. Go ahead and check out this article, specifically the section called Link or unlink a service with your account. Follow those steps to add the services you use, and see if the apps stay logged in.
