Can’t factory reset Chromecast Audio through Google Home app

I’m unable to perform a factory reset of my Chromecast Audio through Google Home app. My Chromecast audio is inaccessible and therefore it is not an easy matter of pressing the reset button on the chromecast device itself. It used to be possible to do it through the Google Home app, but seemingly not anymore. Can the app be updated to allow for this again?

Hey there S-A,

I apologize for the late response on this, thank you for being patient! Were you able to factory reset that Chromecast Audio? If not, here is how to do so via the Google Home app:

Open the Google Home app .
Touch and hold your device's tile.
At the top right, tap Settings More Factory reset Factory reset.
