Chromecast picture on projector is over saturated and dark

I am using my Chromecast on a projector (Tkisko) via HDMI. The projector is very new, and it's home screen is at a full brightness level, so I really don't think it's an issue with the projector. But when I go to chromecast the picture is very dark and over saturated (on the chromecast home screen, as well as in the streaming apps). I have followed various suggestions I've found online- to go to display settings and select HDR, and to match content dynamic range. I have also tried all of the different color formats, and the picture is still super dark and over saturated. Is there anything else I can try to get the picture to be brighter?

I am sorry for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix your display settings? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can imagine this makes for a terrible viewing experience. First, see if there are any settings on the projector itself that may affect the brightness, such as a "Cinematic" mode. Then, see if plugging the Chromecast into a different HDMI port on the projector helps. Finally, check out this list of all the display settings for the Chromecast, and try adjusting different ones.
