When casting my android am i able to listen to the audio through my Bluetooth earbuds?

No, the Chromecast Gen 1 does not have Bluetooth support. 🙄

If you have a Google TV Chromecast that has Bluetooth, you should be able to pair your earbuds by using Bluetooth.
