HBO Max not supported

Hello,

I just set up a Google Chromecast with Google TV, but when I try to install the HBO Max App, it says that the Chromecast does not support the app and it requires of version of Android 5.0 and up.

The last updated version appears to be on July, 8, 2022: Kernel version: 4.9.269

Anyone know how I may fix it?

Yes. I've checked that thread but it is not working. To that user it was about the VPN. I've tried multiple networks but i get the same message: "Your device isn't compatible with this version".

Casting from the HBO Mobile App is working, but wanted to connect my account directly into Google TV.

I've also checked the troubleshoot page from HBO, still the same.

I also tried factory reset and I still get the same error.

What region are you located and what language settings to you have? Have you tried rebooting your router and Chromecast?
