Using vpn whilst casting

I am using protonvpn

Google chromecaster

Home app

When I have a VPN active I can't cast to my TV using the home app with chromecaster

Can anyone help. Thanks in advance

Google doesn't support the use of VPNs with Chromecast, so your mileage is going to vary here unfortunately.

Hi Jennifer. Thanks. It seems I have a dead end here and I can't use chrome with my VPN. If there is a way round the problem I am still interested in hearing from folk. Thanks again
