Youtube TV will not load on chromecast with google tv

Youtube tv has trouble loading on my chromecast with google tv. So I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the app. But it took a really long time for app to reinstall and then I just got circles when I tried to login to youtube tv. So the problem seems to be with wifi connection, which seems much slower through the chromecast than roku or apple tv which work fine from the same location. Is it possible that chromecast is less compatible with my orbi than other devices? Everything worked fine with roku but I wanted to swap out roku for chromecast due to youtube tv/roku conflict. But my youtube tv app simply would load. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I apologize about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that YouTube TV issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions to better understand what is happening:

When did this issue start happening?
What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
Have you already cleared out the YouTube TV app cache?
Do you notice slow Wi-Fi speeds in other apps?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
