Chromecast Remote Overheating

Hello,

Writing again for my Chromecast issues - I've tried the suggested steps but it's still impossible to interact in any way with the remote and I've to physically remove the batteries every time because the device overheats immediately when I put them in.

Any further advice? @JenniferV
