Chromecast setup to Free BT wifi open network

Is it possible to connect to an open free BT Wifi network with the Chromecast? Normally, when connecting to this type of network there will be a front end screen to accept conditions of the connection but not sure if this is possible during the Chromecast setup? Thanks

Hi Gadgetmangolfin,

A Chromecast can not connect to a captive portal network like you describe, sorry.

Other users have used a travel router in these situations, the travel router is connected to the captive portal and then used to create a private secure WiFi network that you can connect the Chromecast to.
