You can, but only if you have the Chromecast with Google TV model (the oblong one that comes with a remote).

None of the other models can do this; none of the round ones and not the Chromecast Audio devices

Chromecast Audio works, if your speaker has Aux In. The Chromecast Audio is an Aux Out device. Wired connection, not Bluetooth.
