setup - cant lrogon to google account

i was on the phone and it brought me to the tv screen where I connected to wifi. Now I need to logon to my google account. I can't see what I am typing. Evidently I am typing password with errors. I already changed password and still can't enter it correctly. I'd like to get out of screen mode and continue in the app. I have disconnected from electrical outlet and then put it back it. But I am still in screen mode.
