Password on Chromecast

I’ve installed Chromecast and everything is fine until I get to the sign-in section that asks for email and password but when I enter password it says it’s incorrect so I changed password and it still says it’s incorrect

Hey there Mark20,

I'm sorry to hear that your Chromecast is having issues signing you in, I'd be happy to help you get this figured out. First, if you haven't already, go ahead and soft restart the Chromecast:

From Google TV

Using your Chromecast Voice Remote, in the upper right of your TV screen, select your profile Settings .
Select System Restart Restart.

From the power source

Unplug the power cable from Chromecast with Google TV.
Leave it unplugged for one minute.
Insert the cable back into Chromecast with Google TV.

Note: When you unplug Chromecast with Google TV from the TV’s HDMI port, it does not reboot the device. It must be disconnected from the power source in order to reboot.

Afterwards, try logging in again. If it still gives you issues, you may need to look at resetting your Google Account's password.
