I'm sorry to hear that your Chromecast is having some sound issues! Hearing popping and cracking while watching a show sounds pretty annoying, so I'd be happy to help you out. First, try to factory reset the TV by using the button on the Chromecast dongle. Then, go ahead and factory reset the Chromecast Voice Remote as well. Let me know if you are able to do so and get the devices set up again.
