Can anyone help me remove the audio/sound icon that appears permanently on screen during chromecast programs. Any suggestions would be great

Hey there TonyMcC,

Welcome to the Chromecast Community Forum! This sound issue would bug me as well, so I'd be happy to help you out. First, go ahead and unplug the Chromecast for a minute, then plug it back in. If the problem persists, go ahead and reboot the device. Finally, if that didn't help, please factory reset the Chromecast.
