Optus sport won't issue a code to log on voa chromecast

Trying to log onto optus sport through the app on chromecast, but it won't let us log in. Log in details are correct. A message just keeps flashing up saying error. It also won't issue a code for us to be able to type it in via phone. Any suggestions appreciated

Thanks for reaching out to the Chromecast Community forum and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the Optus Sport app.

To confirm, are you also unable to log in on the Optus Sport app on your mobile phone? What exact message are you getting? Is your device a Chromecast with Google TV? If yes, is it a 4K or HD model?

I've checked the Optus website and found the steps below. Give it a try!

Please confirm your login details. Usernames and passwords are case sensitive
If you're still having trouble - try to login on a different device to confirm your username and password.

If you're unable to login on the Optus Sport app on your mobile phone and Chromecast with Google TV, please reach out to Optus support for further help.
