Remote not working white light stays on

My chromecast remote not working. Changed batteries tried to reset. To be honest it's a really flimsy remote. I had this unit about 2 months. Really disappointed maybe I should have bought a different device such as firestick or roku.

Hey there Rprieto,

That's no good to hear that your Chromecast Voice Remote is not working properly. When the white LED light is on, that usually means the remote is using the Google Assistant and trying to listen to a command. I'd check to see if there's any dust or debris in the remote's buttons. Also, if you haven't already, try factory resetting the Voice Remote.
