Hey guys , I'm thinking about swithing to t mobile for unlimited home internet, how well does google chromecast work with t mobile 5g wi fi gateway? TIA

Does it work with it? Yes, it should. Your gateway will make a regular WiFi network and you will connect your Chromecast to that network.

How well? We just don't know. As long as your speeds are good and you don't have some kind of data/speed cap you should be fine. But, streaming takes a LOT of data; a single hi-def movie can blow through 2GBs of data quickly.

The only way to know for sure is to test it, unfortunately. Read reviews and see if people are commenting on streaming problems (it doesn't matter if it's Chromecast, Roku, or other streaming devices).
