&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Reboot the &lt;A href="https://goo.gle/39thY6w" target="_blank"&gt;Chromecast&lt;/A&gt; and TV.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Plug in your Chromecast into a different HDMI port on the TV.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If applicable, test the Chromecast on another TV screen.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Perform a factory reset. Here's a guide: &lt;A href="https://goo.gle/2WJrahO" target="_blank"&gt;How to factory reset your Chromecast.&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

      <title>New chromecast fail</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Bought a Chromecast and attempted to set it up. Got it all plugged in, started the setup which went smoothly until it installed and update. Device rebooted twice during update then nothing for 20 minutes. Unplugged it, plugged in back in. Nothing.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hopped on the Google and looked up what to try next. Google said try a factory reset, which I've done four times now, nothing. When I plug the power in the big G comes up on the screen, then the TV shows my "no signal" screen and the chromecast just makes a ding or beep noise every 15 to 30 seconds.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That's where I am. When I turn it on it starts with orange lights, then solid white, then blinking white (I think that's the order). What am I missing?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks, have already done all of those steps. Tried three different HDMI ports on a brand new Denon AVR. When the Chromecast powers on the TV screen shows the Google G on a black background then goes to no signal?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
