Chromecast only casting wired Nest cam for 5 minutes

Nest camera only casts to Chromecast for 5 minutes. That’s what battery powered next cameras do, but mine’s wired and should cast for 12 hours. Works fine in Next and Home app on iPhone and iPad.

Have factory reset camera, then factory reset C/Cast, but still 5 mins.

Hey there Geastwoo,

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Nest camera issue? If not, I'd be happy to help you figure it out. First thing, I would make sure both your Google Home app and Chromecast firmware are both up-to-date. Then, go ahead and clear out the cached app data on the Google Home app. If the problem persists, go ahead and remove the Nest camera from Google Home and re-add it again.
