Chromecast can’t find wifi

For some reason my chromecast can’t find my wi-fi. I tried restarting it, resetting, deleting the app but it’s still not showing up even thought it shows my neighbours’ wi-fi which is significantly further away. My laptop and phone connect to it with no problem, I don’t know what else I can do. It was working few weeks ago and nothing seems to have changed since then but it just stopped connecting and then showing the wi-fi.

Exact same problem im having. Any ideas anyone? Tried Chromecast help/contact us but no one replied.

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast. Let's sort this out.

Quick questions: what type of Chromecast do you have? What's the LED status on your Chromecast? Please reboot your Chromecast, Wi-Fi router and mobile phone. Reinstalling the Google Home app might also help.

If the issue persists, perform a factory reset on your Chromecast. Here's a guide: How to factory reset your Chromecast.
