What is a compatible TV if Finch TV 12V (caravan) not listed in Chromecast TV selections?

Chromecast works with any TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 or higher built-in. HDCP 2.2 is required to support 4K content.

The part you mean for controlling the volume, input, and power requires one of the brands/models of TV listed during the device setup, or if your TV brand/model isn't listed it may use the same manufacturer codes as a brand/model that is listed. It would be impossible for Google to list absolutely every TV brand/manufacturer. You can use some trial and error by selecting the other manufacturer's listed. Alternatively, try a Google search or see if they have forums to see if someone else may have found one that works for your brand of TV.

I went through the top 12 TV manufacturers and tried all available settings for volume control. No good and have lost interest.

If I can be given any guidance on which TV selection I should make I would be very grateful.

I have contacted (2 weeks ago) Finch Australia for no advice given and have put out to Caravan owners FB group if anyone has advice???

Hey there Cougans2,

That's no good to hear. I tried looking online for Finch's remote code, but I couldn't find any information. What I'd recommend is checking the Finch TV's user manual, as the manual can contain the TV remote code for the Finch remote. From there, you could Google Finch's TV remote code and see if any other brand shares the same one.
