I am trying to set the input

It brings up the screen to change the input

But doesn't allow me to click to change input

It's clicking on the chromecast screen not the pop up input screen

I have a TV that does the same thing. It's because the remote doesn't fully support the TV.

Here's a trick I've discovered. Once the input list comes up, hit the INPUT BUTTON on the Chromecast remote again. On my TV, the first press brings up the menu and then each subsequent press cycles through the input selections. Once I am on the one that I want, I just wait (don't touch anything) for a few seconds and my TV decides I want that and selects it for me and closes the menu.

Hey there Dolphinree,

I'm just checking up on this thread; are you still having issues with your Chromecast Voice Remote? If so, you could try setting the remote to use IR instead of HDMI-CEC to see if that helps at all. Also, like Byteguy mentioned, the remote is still being updated to work with more and more manufacturers, so if you have the time, I would encourage you to submit feedback via Google TV to let Google know what model of TV your Chromecast Voice Remote is having issues with.
