Qobuz can stream up to 24 bit 192khz of audio resolution. What does the Chromecast with Google TV turn that stream into when I cast it? What is the max audio resolution of Chromecast with Google TV?

Hey there BartB65,

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! When you stream music from Qobuz to your Chromecast with Google TV, the Chromecast will convert the audio to a maximum of 24-bit 48kHz. This is because the Chromecast with Google TV does not support higher-resolution audio formats.

The Chromecast with Google TV can support the following audio formats:

Dolby Digital
Dolby Digital Plus
Dolby Atmos
DTS
DTS-HD Master Audio
LPCM
