How do I get normal tv up when I turn my chromecast tv remote off

Hi when I have finished watching my tv through chromecast tv and switch power off by the remote I then get no signal on tv and my tv remote won’t let me change source back to normal tv I have to pull chromecast out of tv before I can go back to watching normal tv.

Any help would be great

Hey there Mesta80,

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Does this issue occur when you press the power button on your Chromecast Voice Remote? If so, it may just be turning the TV off as well. You shouldn't need to power off the Chromecast when swapping to a different input as leaving the Chromecast on would allow you to cast whenever, but if you would like to easily, you can go into the Chromecast with Google TV remote settings to program the remote's power button to turn off the Chromecast rather than the TV.
