Hey there, I have just purchased a new tv and when playing Netflix and Disney+ from my Google tv, the audio takes a few seconds to start every time I start a video. This doesn't happen on YouTube or Plex.

I have set it to Dolby Digital only, tried different HDMI, updated the Google tv associated tv and have played around with the tv settings to no avail.

Thanks

Hey there IsseyIroh,

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that audio issue? If not, I'd be happy to help you figure this out. Go ahead and give these steps a try:

Restart your Chromecast with Google TV. To do this, go to Settings > System > Restart.

Restart your TV. To do this, unplug your TV from the power outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

Update your Chromecast with Google TV. To do this, go to Settings > System > About > System update.

Update your TV's firmware. To do this, check your TV's manufacturer's website for instructions.

Clear the cache and data for the Netflix and Disney+ apps. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps > Netflix > Storage & cache > Clear cache > Clear data. Repeat these steps for the Disney+ app.

Uninstall and reinstall the Netflix and Disney+ apps. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps > Netflix > Uninstall > Uninstall. Repeat these steps for the Disney+ app.

Factory reset your Chromecast with Google TV. To do this, go to Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Factory reset.

If the problem persists, let me know and we can dig a little deeper. I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know.

Best regards,
Jeran
