Bluetooth keyboard connected to Google TV Chromecast shows different characters on screen than KB

i purchased a google tv chromecast and connected a logitech keys mini with scandinavian layout (danish, swedish, norwegian) but pressing some keys (like æ,ø,å or @ and many more) does show different characters on the screen. How to solve this ?

The same keyboard works perfect when connected to my PC

Thanks for reaching out. A few questions: what Chromecast do you own? Is this the first time that you connected this keyboard? Also, what steps have you taken so far?

Try to reconnect it and observe if it will make a difference.

i have the google tv chromecast 4k

i have tried to remove and add the keyboard again, dont work either

Any solution ?

of course it should be possible to have a non-US keybpard showing different characters for different countries layout

Hi. I did have the same problem. Solved with Logitech Keyboard Plus. It has to be sidedownloaded as .apk file and manually installed. When started it comes up with some guide that does not work in Google TV, but it adds a keyboard named "Logitech keyboard" that can be selected. It works for my non-Logitech keyboard with æ-ø-å. Btw. when Android 13 arriwes to Chrome TV it is told a new option to select language for external keyboards.
