Chromecast with a Chromebit device

I am wanting to use a Chromebit to change the TV orientation to portrait and cast my phone's portrait screen to the TV. Is there a way to add a Chromecast device in the mix to accomplish this? Could this work with Chromebit connected to a TV with built in Chromecast?

Hey there bocker77,

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Currently, there is no way to add a Chromecast device to the mix to accomplish this. The Chromebit is a device that plugs into an HDMI port on a TV and turns it into a smart TV. It has its own operating system and apps, and it does not support casting from other devices. It does not have a built-in Chromecast, so you cannot use it to cast content from your phone to your TV.
