Chrome Cast and Google Home Black Screen when Mirroring

I recently installed Chrome Cast 3rd Gen on my Sony Bravia. I installed Google Home on my Android 8 device. When I try to mirror a video from DishAnyWhere, I only get the audio and the screen is black although the video displays on the Android device. Interestingly, when I try to mirror SiriusXM it works as expected. I've found a number of articles on this problem which seems fairly common, none of those solutions worked. Please help. TIA.

Some apps do not allow recording or mirroring, it could that is the issue. I'm a bit surprised Dish doesn't have regular casting and has to rely on mirroring. Are you sure there isn't a cast icon while playing a Dish video?

Doh! I didn't even think to look. It was hard to find but you were correct, there is a cast icon. Thanks.
