Hello. I was wondering if there was a way to do a Software update on my Google chromecast??

Chromecast devices auto-update themselves. You can't force them.

Just leave your device plugged in overnight and it will take care of it when you aren't actively watching something.

Or, if you have had it off for a while, plug it back in and leave it. It will notice if it is far behind and stop and update itself (this can be annoying to people that leave it off then want it to turn on and run immediately).
