Chromecast ultra, shuts off at 4k content

Hi,

Recently I hooked up my chromecast ultra to a Benq v6050 projector.

When playing 4k content, the chromecast has problems running it.

What happens:

- shut himself off

- gets green lines in the image

- switches automatically to full HD settings

- or the image gets.black and goes back to the image again in every 5 minutes or so.

When the settings are on full HD, then it works perfectly.

Is the chromecast broken?

It is connected via the adapter.

Hopefully someone can help me.

Is this working on your TV before connecting to your projector?
Is this happening on all apps/contents?
What is this adapter that you mentioned?
What steps have you taken?
