How do I connect my chromcast to the hotel wifi??

Unless you want to spend the money on a device especially for traveling or what I do is Hot Spot the Wi-Fi from my Old Galaxy S7 and works perfectly newer OS doesn't.. And most of your nicer or friendlier hotels have a service where you call a phone number they give you and give them your phone info they need.

You can connect your Chromecast 1st generation to the hotel WiFi network via Google Home application WiFi setting on your phone.

You may need to hard reset your Chromecast device.

Alternatively, as long as you are not leaving the country, you can use a mobile WiFi router. Before leaving your home you switch your Chromecast device from the main home network to the mobile router WiFi network.
