Issues Using Phone as Chromecast Remote

I'm on holiday, and have forgotten the remote for my Google TV. It is not connected to WiFi. To use my phone as a remote I need to connect my phone to the Google TV. How do I do this when Google TV has no WiFi connection, and I have no physical remote to accept the Bluetooth pairing request from my phone?

If you haven't got the voice remote, there isn't going to be a workaround here unfortunately. To use your phone as a remote, your phone and Chromecast must already be on the same Wi-Fi network. Even if you factory reset the Chromecast, to attempt setup again, setup requires the remote.
