Using chrome cast with out a internet connection

Hi there I am after some advice can I use a chromecast with no internet connection?

backstory I’m looking to cast stored content (Disney + Netflix and prime) from an android device and maybe apple device but there will be no dedicated internet connection or limited mobile hotspot.
would this be possible

Hi @Jkad78

With the Chromecast Ultra that is not possible. When you are casting the devices connects to the service to stream. It does not stream from your phone. 🙂
