Lost Chromecast remote during move and have new wifi, help!

Hi,

I just moved and lost my Google remote! I'm so bummed. I tried firing up the Google tv app from my phone but it can't find the tv because I have a new router with my new ISP... I feel like I'm screwed.

My new router is not anywhere near my Chromecast so I can't direct wire it temporarily.

Is there anyway to force connect to my phone?

Unfortunately, the setup steps require you to have the remote handy.

You can order a replacement from Google:
