I dropped Google Chrome Cast with TV REMOTE in water and now it's not working. Do I need to replace it?

Where can I buy it in India?

Strictly speaking you can use your phone as a remote control:
Use your phone as a virtual remote control - Chromecast Help

However, if you ever need to connect it to a different Wi-Fi network or set the device up again, that requires the physical remote control. Replacement remotes are available on the Google Store.

That's most likely because Chromecast with Google TV is not officially sold or supported in India. You may be able to find them from other suppliers in your country perhaps. As for using your phone as a remote control, refer to the link I shared. Here it is again:
